Jim is an excellent attorney. He made sure I was comfortable and informed every step of the way through my divorce. With the pandemic coming up in the middle of the proceeding, he still made sure my case was handled smoothly and with no delays. He made sure he was available to me whenever a question ...or concern came up, and I was never left in the dark about any aspect of the process. The entire thing was as simple as it could have been, and I always felt confident that I was in good hands with Jim. Can't recommend him highly enough.

I was hired Attorney Doherty in 2009 for a divorce. I had a lot of hurdles with my ex but I knew Jim was right on it and would take care of the situation. Even worse than the divorce itself was a custody trial, a parents nightmare. I had so much faith in Jim and Diane (his paralegal) that I was fee...ling more positive than negative about the trial because I knew that Jim was fighting for me and for the best interest of my son.
