Strongly Recommend Attorney Lewin

Mr. Lewin is one of the most hardworking and compassionate lawyers I could've come across. He always knew how to make me feel better and how to present my thoughts and arguments. My case was a misdemeanor assault and battery against a household member. Mr. Lewin was very easy to talk to about the... details of my case. He guided me every step of the way by simplifying the required steps to move forward and advised me on how to proceed in the best way possible. He was confident about the way the court case would play out. He met with the District Attorney several times on my behalf and recommended a fellow colleague to help me with the school aspect of my case, as well as my current therapist. He was very thorough with my case and wrote a strong memorandum that the judge personally read in court. He is very open to ideas or arguments from his clients. He is an outstanding lawyer and I would recommend him to anyone in the future. The outcome of my case ended up being continuous without a finding with administrative probation. He fought for my right to travel back to my residing state as well as continuing my therapy instead of attending anger management. Mr. Lewin always showed his confidence in me and I couldn't have asked for a better person to represent me.

The BEST Criminal Defense Attorney in this area

If you are taking the time to read this review, then just like I was you are looking to find the best criminal defense lawyer you can find. While I am sure every attorney wants to win their cases, not every attorney is the same. After doing my research I found Attorney Bob Lewin to be the best Crimi...nal Defense Trial Lawyer around that ONLY deals with Criminal cases. I didn't need a jack of all trades, I needed the best trial attorney I could find. Now that my ordeal is finally over I can attest to those 5 star reviews for Attorney Bob Lewin, as had I chosen someone else with less experience and expertise I may not be able to write any review period because even though I was innocent I faced a serious possibility of being incarcerated for something that I did not do. For a period of 90 days my life was turned upside down when I was falsely accused of domestic assault and battery and strangulation. I faced up to 5 years in jail, loss of my $80K job, my pension, my health benefits and my reputation. At age 54 I had never been arrested nor have I ever committed a crime and I did not commit the crime for which I was falsely accused. Even though the alleged victim confessed the following day that her injuries were self inflicted it did not matter; my case was scheduled for jury trial. I knew then that even though I am 100% innocent I needed the best trial attorney I could find. Attorney Lewin took over my case with only 5 weeks before the trial date. During the initial consultation Attorney Lewin was able to provide more insight to this case than I learned in the 7 weeks since I was arrested. From the moment I retained Attorney Lewin he was was in constant contact throughout this entire ordeal. From the outset my case was treated as a priority and never once was there a sense of being pushed to the back burner. Whether it was morning, noon or night Attorney Lewin was there for me. After extensive preparation for trial, Attorney Lewin successfully got me my life back when the Commonwealth dismissed the charges the day of trial. My ordeal was no joke and without Attorney Lewin in my corner the results may have been far different with a less experienced attorney. If you value your freedom and you want the best trial attorney available, I can proudly say Attorney Bob Lewin is that guy. I would recommend his legal expertise to anyone.

Best Decision For Representation I Could Have Made

I was charged with assault and battery on a household member. After searching for a local attorney I picked a few to call and have consultations with and Mr. Lewin was my first appointment. After speaking with him for over an hour during our consultation (his consultations are free of charge), I left... knowing full well I would be hiring Mr. Lewin for my representation. He was thorough in speaking with me and the charges I was facing. We went over my case; my story and statement, the police report, as well as the multiple possibilities of outcome. Mr. Lewin made it clear that it is extremely difficult for a man to have an assault and battery on household member (or as we commonly refer to as domestic violence) charge dismissed during pretrial. However the professionalism, drive, and straight forwardness he showed towards me made me confident that he was going to work hard and with my best interests as number one priority. Robert informed me that he believed we had a good case for the victim on record to have a 5th amendment right. Mr. Lewin made himself available at all times and called me on multiple occasions to not only update me on the case but also check in on me. Robert was at courthouse early and ready to meet with me before going in. He was again beyond thorough and informative of the stages of events that will happen for that date and his demeanor and professionalism put me at ease for the last time. In court proceedings he continued with his professionalism and knowledge of the law. Mr. Lewin pushed and continued fighting for a dismissal even when it was obvious the State did not want to settle case that day. As a result of this persistence, Mr. Lewin was able to have the Massachusetts DA admit to lack of evidence to continue the charges against me while having the alleged victim use her Fifth Amendment Right to seal the deal and get my case completely DISMISSED at pretrial. A feat that does not happen regularly with the charges I was facing. My writing is not on par with how much Attorney Lewin provided for me. He is hands down the best decision I could have made for counsel. From the beginning to the end he was there for me. He knew what he was doing and you will see that from the first time you meet with him. Mr. Lewin did everything and more than I imagined and am forever grateful for his work. Thank you Bob. Best lawyer in the Courtroom

I owe Attorney Lewin a tremendous amount of gratitude. I was arrested and charged with domestic assault & battery, witness intimidation, and violating an abuse prevention order. I went online and found Attorney Lewin's website. With all the positive reviews, I gave him a call. He spent well o...ver an hour explaining the charges and the process. He sounded very professional and extremely knowledgeable about the law. I knew I found a lawyer that would fight for me. He kept me well informed throughout the whole process. I met with him several times to prepare for trial to know what to expect in the courtroom. He is very ethical, cares and wants to win! The first trial was the violation of abuse prevention order heard in Ayer District Court. It didn't take long to realize I had the best lawyer in the courtroom. He knows what he's doing. I was found "not guilty." The next day in Lowell District Court for the Domestic Assault & Battery and Witness Intimidation charges, Attorney Lewin was successful in getting all the Commonwealth's witnesses to refuse to testify against me and the charges were "dismissed." He was amazing. Thank you Attorney Lewin for giving me my life back.

Worth every penny! Superb Lawyer!

I hired Robert Lewin for an assault case. He defended me so well that it didn't take the jury more than 6 minutes to deliver a "non guilty" verdict. He prepared me for the case very well. I met with him two times only to make sure that I am confident in front of the jury. He went over all sort of que...stions that might be asked from me. He is very detail-oriented, extremely smart, and very well-known. On top of everything he is so good looking and charming that barely he can go by women unnoticed which, will always help the case. That being said he is very honest and made sure that we never deviate from the truth. I highly recommend him. He is the best!
