Peter John Lawton

I went to see him recently. He is not good for Criminal Case because his expertise is in Civil Right Law, not in Criminal Defense Law. But, he will never tell you this. He will trick you to pay very first minute you get there. He does not answer directly. He has little knowledge about Internet Infest...ed Legal Complications, i.e texting in various apps etc. I would not recommend anyone who chase Criminal Case. He does not care about you. He is into money and that is about it. Do not go to see him unless you want to give him free $1500 for 5 minutes talk in his office.

Peter lawton in my opinion is an excellent criminal defense attorney. Peter is a very knowledgeable, well rounded, understandable, and down to earth attorney. Peter in one of many cases battled for me and as a result got 2 subsequent class A possession cases dismissed. Aside from all that he has bee...n in the game for a long time so he is well known and also knows a lot of people. Peter has helped me out with varias criminal matters and has always excelled beyond my expectations. I would recommend Peter J Lawton to anyone an everyone with a criminal matter.

My son got into some trouble . Attorney Peter Lawton said and did exactly what he said he would do. It was a complicated case. Believe me you just have to trust him. Peter 's family is a third generation firm. He graduated from Boston College and it shows. He talked over our heads, he is so sma...rt. Just let him do his thing. He is like the best actor in court. His work is priceless.

he helped me out with a criminal matter at what he said was a reduced rate ($2500 which i thought to be a little high for a reduced rate) and made same initial promises in first meeting - likes to hear himself talk but don't all lawyers? he was on time,. professional and got me a satisfactory plea ev...en tho he wanted to try my case - i was too scared to go thru with a trial.

Made a great 1st impression telling us the case had too many holes in it and he would be able to help, no problem, get some things removed under motions, get bail reduced, etc. No motions were ever filed and bail wasn't reduced, in fact, it was increased. We were not informed of this possibilty. It s...eems it was nothing more than a good sell. He will call you almost daily but not for anything but more money. Even asked us if we had a second home he could put a lien on. He seems only interested in the $.Stay with your public defender, which is where we are now, we have no $ left for a good lawyer or bail or find someone else. Don't be foolish like me, we have basically no $ so we put it on a credit card, now I'll pay twice. Thank you Peter for all your help.
