I am a Massachusetts attorney, often recognized by my peers and the media for my expertise in real estate matters, including litigation, title and conveyancing. While my speciality is real estate law, I have a fairly diversified practice, assisting clients with anything from business and probate litigation, business start-up formation to trademark applications.
As a business and real estate litigator, I am often found litigating real estate disputes such as adverse possession, boundary disputes, zoning appeals, condominium disputes, breach of contract, title and landlord-tenant cases. Unlike a lot of litigators these days, I've actually tried cases, both before a jury and judge. I also have significant appellate experience in the Appeals Court, Supreme Judicial Court, and First Circuit. I am also well-versed in alternative dispute resolution, arbitration, and mediation, where a majority of cases are settled today.
I also handle a substantial amount of residential conveyancing. Along with my business partner, Attorney Marc Canner, I founded TitleHub Closing Services LLC, which does full service settlement agent work for national, regional and local lenders, as well as individual borrowers and sellers.

Fantastic Real Estate Litigator
Richard Vetstein assisted me with a very contentious condominium litigation dispute. His courtroom skills were dynamic and he is extremely knowledgeable on the law. He was also very good at keeping me informed and calm during the process.
"I've enjoyed RIch's presentations and blog posts about real estate law for a long time. He is clearly knowledgeable and is a great resource for other attorneys in the community. I recently had the opportunity to work with him on a personal home purchase and the experience was excellent. He responded to every inquiry immediately and everything went very smoothly. I will be recommending Rich to all my clients."
"I have known Rich for over 5 years. I regularly see him in housing court. I also have sent many satisfied clients to him for real estate matters. He is exceptionally knowledgeable at no sacrifice to his ability to connect personally to his clients. I cannot say enough good things about him."
"I have known Rich for more than 25 years. He has been a "go to" Massachusetts real estate attorney for several years. In addition to being frequently retained as counsel in significant real estate matters, Rich's reputation, legal acumen and experience often result in his being sought out to opine on real estate matters of public interest. I enthusiastically endorse Rich."
"Highly effective, dedicated counsel. Attorney Vetstein stays abreast of changes in the legal landscape. Check out his blog: www.marealestatelawblog.com"
