I decided to consult with the lawyer I met at court at first, but felt he wasn't going to do the right thing for me and my family. I decided to search for a different lawyer on line and Mike's profile and website with highly rated comments made me feel he would be the person I would like to represent... me. Mike made me feel very comfortable during my consultation and at ease, while I told him the event that happened at our house and led to my arrest and charges of assault and battery by my wife. I had accidentally hit her on her lip and she decided to call the police. I was not aware she had called the police and the law and police did what they had to do and arrested me and remove me from her and our house. My wife had to testify this in court and it was recorded that she wanted it dismissed and the judge dismissed my charges. I selected Attorney Michael Erlich out of several attorneys I interviewed to handle my vehicle related case. What a great decision to retain him it proved to be! In our initial interaction he came across as highly responsive, including making himself available to meet during weekend and on a short no...tice. As we worked through case details I really appreciated the depth Michael's legal knowledge, his experience, intelligence and communication skills. Most important is that his style is such that applies all of the above fully to achieve for his client the most favorable outcome possible – in my case, having the charge dismissed. Michael knows the law and the different risks involved. Very familiar with the system and respected in the courtroom. He keeps it professional and although he is busy jumping from courtroom to courtroom he is prepared. He also returns his phone calls. You will not hear from him unless you need to... ask a question. At the first meeting with Michael he explains fully the worse/best case scenario, options available and I've found him to be accurate. Unfortunately, I have had to use his services twice within a year but he proved to be effective the DUI verdict, not guilty, Wreckless driving, dismissed, and the remaining charges were guilty. Very pleased with his representation and I highly recommend him to anyone needing criminal representation. Michael does not get involved in the RMV portion of your situation, your on your own for that. The RMV is a whole different animal, so do your research. Glad to say the incident is behind me but I felt confident with Michael's representation. Michael is professional, reliable and his fees are better than most that I researched. Truly can't say enough, one other thing to mention, Michael is not your friend, he keeps it pleasant but professional and don't expect hand holding it doesn't appear to be his style. He knows what he's doing and very good at deciphering the judges' personalities/moods which can prove to be extremely important. Attorney Erlich is very professional and knowledgeable. He took the time to listen to my side of the story when I was pulled over and received a ticket for speeding at 85mph on a 65mph speed limit highway. Prior to this I have had one parking ticket on my driving record. He very accurately and compl...etely presented the facts to the magistrate. I was found to be not responsible.
