Mei, I'm sorry you feel this way especially because we seemed to have such a good rapport during our meetings and telephone conversations. My fee structure was carefully explained to you, you signed a fee agreement which contained my fee structure and I must disagree with you about it being atypical. Your case involved a lot of work preparing pleadings, your financial statement and requesting and responding to discovery (information requests and responses to information requested from opposing counsel). Your case was heading to trial and depositions were about to be scheduled. Much work was performed getting it to that stage. You did not speak with me about your concerns off line before making this post or even before you left 2 months ago. Perhaps, if you had, your issues could have been resolved.
