If your reading this review I imagine you are in the terrifying situation of being arrested and facing a life-altering OUI conviction. I had the traumatizing experience of being arrested almost a year ago for OUI, operating with negligence and a marked lane violation last summer. I was and still am... traumatized by the whole experience. I was fortunate enough to have a nephew who is in law enforcement and recommended a few lawyers...Michael Erlich was one of them. Michael explained my situation clearly, honestly and I hired him. He guided me through easily the court process which was so scary to me as I have never even had a speeding ticket! When it came time for my trial I was planning a jury trial but then switched to a bench trial based on Michael's professional opinion and I won. Not only did he professionally poke holes in the prosecution's case while examining both officers he actually got the arresting officer to admit that I was not impaired!!! You could hear the gasps in the courtroom. I was found NOT guilty! Michael is a great lawyer who has a personal touch that makes you feel as comfortable as possible in a horrendously uncomfortable situation. I cannot recommend him enough if you are in this situation. The process is long, stressful, expensive and scary but with Michael defending you, it seems that there is light at the end of a very dark and scary tunnel. Thank you again Michael!!!!!

I had a few drinks after work and was pulled over and arrested for dui. Attorney Erlich with very short notice came to court the very next morning to represent me. We pled not guilty and got a court date a few weeks later. He informed me of all my options best and worst case and answered every ques...tion and concern I had. We got a continuous without a finding and loss of license for 45 days, in my case it could have been 6 months because I refused the breathalyzer. I would highly recommend attorney Erlich, he is very informative and knows his stuff. Having him by my side through this traumatic experience made it so much easier to get through. From the beginning when I first met with Mike, I felt confident with my descision to hire him to represent me. Being falsely accused of a domestic assault charge was my situation I was dealing with. My reputation was at stake. My job was also on the line because if convicted on this false claim I would of been fired on the spot. Trusting another person to help defend your case is a really hard spot to be in. Mike really listened to me and payed close attention to details in everything that I could possibly tell him regarding my case. Getting in touch with a lawyer can be difficult at times in my experience ,however that wasn't the case with him. Every time I reached out to Mike he responded and made me feel that he was taking my case seriously as it was serious to me. At trial is where I really saw how good he is at what he does. He argued my case so well it was even better then my high expectations were for him! I was so thankful for my not guilty verdict! Justice was served! At the end of the trial even one of the people who worked for the court house and sat next to the judge asked for his business card lol. Just goes to show how well he did in the court room and other peoples opinion of him in the field. If you need an awesome lawyer who will stick up for your reputation and innocence I highly suggest this guy!
