About Michael
Biography
I made a decision 24 years ago following an internship with the Dade County State's Attorney's Office in Miami that following my graduation from Law School that I would devote all of my practice to criminal defense. My father thought I was crazy and never thought I could sustain a practice like that but following my appearance on the O'Reilly Factor in September of 2003 for a racial-profiling case that received national attention, he looked at me and for the first time in his life, told me he was wrong.
I handle each client with professionalism & bring a vast amount of jury trial experience to the courtroom. I also pride myself on returning every call, text or email prior to leaving for the day.

Jury trial 2nd offense oui NOT GUILTY on all charges
Michael Erlich is a extreemly good atturney, in the fact that he knows the laws as well as reading people. my case was not an easy one to fight seeing that i took a breathalizer with a .16 result. Replied last March 24, 2012February 15, 2012 Framingham District Court OUI Motion to Suppress/Dismiss A 911 call was placed regarding an erratic operator on Route 9 northbound in Framingham. An officer heard the dispatch and proceeded to look for the vehicle. Once he observed it, he reversed direction and noticed what appeared to be a heated argument involving my client and the front seat passenger. The officer proceeded to pull the vehicle over. I filed a Motion to Suppress based on there being no probable cause to pull my client over. I argued the officer needed to personally observe the erratic operation because he could not take as reliable a motorist who is unnamed. Because he only observed arguing and nothing of a physical nature, the officer did not have enough evidence at that point to pull my client over. Arguing, without more is not a crime. If the officer had seen anything of a physical nature the outcome would have been different. The court agreed following a hearing in which the officer testified and issued a ruling dismissing the operating under the influence charge. Result: Case Dismissed.
