It was a pleasure working with Maura. From the very beginning she was reassuring of a positive outcome for my criminal issue. Maura Tansley took on my case when I was being evaluated to see if I was a threat to society upon my release of a 19-year sentence. Maura made every attempt to keep me informed of what was happening, what I needed to do, and even kept my family informed on their part of my hopeful release. All this... was happening during the pandemic which made the meetings and conferences more difficult. My family was in a different state even, but Maura did all she could to make sure we were informed of everything thru zoom meetings, emails, and phone calls. Maura also brought on an independent evaluator/social worker, Christina Patts, who with Maura’s direction was able to prepare a post-release service & treatment memo which gave my family and I step by step processes to go thru once released. We found this extremely helpful as after being out of society for the past 19-years many things have changed. They supplied us with phone numbers and addresses to each part of our plan for re-entry. Maura broke off and started her own company within this time frame without missing a beat. She was still there for us when we reached out to her! When Maura was in the process of starting her new company, I ended up contracting COVID-19 and just wanted to slip away from it all. Maura reached out and helped me see the end of the tunnel and kept me going. I am extremely thankful for all Maura has done for me. I am now, home with my family and have another chance to be a dad and grandfather to my family. Having been pulled over for an 'unfortunate' OUI I found myself in a predicament where I needed to consult with, and eventually hire, an attorney to represent me. After reviewing options through the internet, I came across information about Maura Tansley and am I ever glad I did. She was everything I... needed and more. First off, she consulted with me immediately and from the start I could tell that she knew her stuff. Everything she told me was spot on. Then after I sent her a copy of the police report I hired her to represent me and that is when I saw just how professional she works. Everything was documented and detailed out so that it was clear and easy for a lay person like me to understand. Every time I scheduled time to meet with her - there was never a delay and we met for the predetermined scheduled time - and she always came prepared. One of the most gratifying parts of this was that because she represented me I was able to get one charge completely dropped after she met with the DA.
