Maura Tansley took on my case when I was being evaluated to see if I was a threat to society upon my release of a 19-year sentence. Maura made every attempt to keep me informed of what was happening, what I needed to do, and even kept my family informed on their part of my hopeful release. All this... was happening during the pandemic which made the meetings and conferences more difficult. My family was in a different state even, but Maura did all she could to make sure we were informed of everything thru zoom meetings, emails, and phone calls. Maura also brought on an independent evaluator/social worker, Christina Patts, who with Maura’s direction was able to prepare a post-release service & treatment memo which gave my family and I step by step processes to go thru once released. We found this extremely helpful as after being out of society for the past 19-years many things have changed. They supplied us with phone numbers and addresses to each part of our plan for re-entry. Maura broke off and started her own company within this time frame without missing a beat. She was still there for us when we reached out to her! When Maura was in the process of starting her new company, I ended up contracting COVID-19 and just wanted to slip away from it all. Maura reached out and helped me see the end of the tunnel and kept me going. I am extremely thankful for all Maura has done for me. I am now, home with my family and have another chance to be a dad and grandfather to my family. I was put into contact with Murphy & Rudolf LLP through a mutual connection where I was then put into contact with Ms. Tansley. Maura Tansley represented me in a criminal defense case I was incredibly satisfied with the results. I was charged with resisting arrest, A&B on a police officer, and disord...erly conduct and Ms. Tansley worked with the DA to have me placed on pretrial probation, what her and I believed to be the best possible outcome of the situation.
