The one statement that made me choose the Reeves Lavallee lawfirm was a phrase in their website where they defend men's rights. Of course, they represent both genders, but it is my opinion that men carry a bigger weight since we are the ones who do not always inititate the divorce. So, this phrase ...meant a lot to me because it was necessary for this lawfirm to show that we both will be equally represented regardless of who started the divorce. Every divorce is complex and we all have huge stories to convey about what and why the marriage took a wrong turn, and it was often my concern that there was too much to remember. If they can't remember the intricacies of the marriage, then this is a risk. My attorney, Mr. Demian Tebaldi and our paralegal Mr. Shawn Ilinitch, were supportive every step of the way. They sorted out the complex story, separated what is needed from what isn't, and in the end delivered an outcome I was happy with. A divorce can be quite emotional, but Mr. Tebaldi exercised the proper level of control to remind me that what is important, and most especially the goal, has not been forgotten or dismissed. Nicole has handled many different issues for us. The last was a real estate transaction where the buyers attorney was dragging their feet. She pushed them along (as well as us!) for a speedy conclusion. She also did some legwork that should have been done by a different attorney, at no extra cost. Sh...e is very thorough and her advice should be heeded. She handled a family court issue for a relative that I referred to her.
