My son is the out of state freshmen that is not under the watchful eye of his (retired) Marine Stepfather & (football) Coach and his mom (track & field coach) of course earning a scholarship and going to school out of state, something is bound to happen. This situation is not a typical college story. My son was persuaded to purchase a BB Gun (from Walmart) with other college students to hunt with. What seem to be a no-brainer for us responsible adults, was not so for our son. The gun was brought back to the campus, started being passed around and played with by other students and eventually ended up in the wrong hands. Thankfully no one was hurt, the BB Gun was never discharged, pointed at any one etc, The point was it should not have been there. Needless to say, My son was let off with an suspension and could return to school, the other kids involved has been expelled and can not return. However he ended up with a charge of carrying a weapon, and needed legal representation. I met Mr. Casale through a Google search.
