This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.
Suspended indefinitely means an attorney lost his or her license to practice law for an unknown period of time. The attorney will need to re-apply for admission to the Bar if he or she intends to resume practice in the future.
Suspension stayed means the attorney has been suspended, but that the suspension is placed on hold (and ultimately removed) if the attorney complies with certain requirements.

Stephen helped me when I was in a tough situation. I was in the middle of a child custody dispute when I came to him and he represented me for 3 months without receiving a penny as I was waiting for my taxes to come in before I could afford to pay him. He did wonderful work and I am greatful for his kindess.
