AWESOME!!

Matt is a top rate lawyer - he know his stuff. Matt was able to get my "privilege(s)" reinstated in MA, as I am a NH resident. Amazing work and on the ball at all times. I couldn't say enough about his attention to detail and follow through. Thank you - job well done!!!

Interlock Device Requirement

Highly recommend Attorney Gillman. Great communication. Extremely knowledgeable. Gets positive results. Respected by fellow attorneys and the Massachusetts RMV. "Want it back, call Matt."

Board of Appeals

Attorney Gillman provided exceptional service while working on my case for a hardship license to be brought in front of the Board of Appeals. He knows what to expect from the board and makes sure the whole process goes as smoothly as possible.

Matthew Gilman as good as advertised

Matthew handled my son's case with confidence, complete understanding and command of the situation, and knowledge of the system to achieve a swift and successful resolution. We are very grateful for his expertise and would recommend him to anyone with a traffic-related legal issue.

OUI Plea and Hardship License

Matt was proactive in reaching out to me once he took my case. He listened to all of the details of the case and was reassuring. He knew all the ins and outs of my circumstances. He was also readily available via the phone and email. On the day of my court appearance attorney Gilman arrived early... and spoke with the ada about my case. He was reassuring as we waited for the case to be called. During the interaction with the judge he was proactive in providing the judge with positive aspects of my case. The judge ended up adding one charge, but I do not fault attorney Gilman for that. Additionally, Matt was super helpful in getting my hardship license. He walked me through the process, give me guidance on crafting my letter, researched public transportation options and how they would not be viable, and brought me to the RMV in Boston. While at the RMV, he showed me exactly where to go, what forms to fill in, and met with the hearing officer, on my behalf. Attorney Gilman has experience working at the RMV as a hearing officer, and as such he had a lot of connections, and this made the process very smooth. I would recommend him unequivocally and without hesitation.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"Atty. Matt Gilman uses his talent and experience for everyone, not just his clients. I met Matt at a volunteer seminar on RMV licensing issues a few years ago, because real lawyers never *stop learning. He spent his time and effort to help educate his colleagues on nuanced areas of the law. He is always willing to take a call seeking guidance, or offer his perspective on approach. Lawyers that help other lawyers improve their knowledge, or share their resources deserve every success that comes their way. Good lawyers care very much about their clients and the results of the case; Great lawyers care just as much about the work of their colleagues and overal reputation of the bar. Matt is a great lawyer and I reccommend him."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals.
