I was having a difficult time financially and was looking for available options. My accountant at the time referred me to Attorney Casey to discuss the possibility of filing bankruptcy. I was hesitant at first as I was always diligent on paying what I owed. I called and then met with Attorney Casey to go over my current financial situation and he put all my concerns at ease. He was great to talk to and listened to my concerns over the whole process. Due to the nature of my situation, his office had to put through an emergency filing, which they did during our first meeting.
Attorney Casey and his entire office made sure they collected all the required (and even more than required) data/info to make the day in court quick and effective. I got to court early and sat in on other Bankruptcy cases. I got a little nervous as a good amount of them did not have all the required info, and had to schedule another trip back to court. When it was my turn, I sat down, got sworn in, and was done in 5 minutes.
Ann from Attorney Casey's office has been a great contact and resource for me as well during this process. I have a residential property that, after I filed Bankruptcy, the mortgage company contacted me about refinancing. I simply contact the office and send them any documentation I receive. Ann has been great to work with and continues to help me every time I call and send over correspondences that I receive from the mortgage company.
They truly made this experience better than I could have imagined. My only regret (if I was going to have one) is that I didn't contact them earlier.

Robert Casey Jr. recently represented my 82 year father in a sensitive bankruptcy proceeding. As a former marine my father's pride and his makeup made just the idea of a bankruptcy difficult but due to life situations of losing my mom and accumulation of debt Attorney Casey not only offered the legal advice he took the time and had the ability to make this former war veteran feel comfortable with the process and walk away with his pride. This was not an easy task and Robert and his personality as well as his assistant Anne were exceptional in dealing with my father. Attorney Casey's handling of the case from a legal perspective was textbook and everything went smoothly and just as he described. I would strongly recommend attorney Casey as he was more than just an attorney in this situation he cared about the individual and how he was doing and how the proceedings would affected him throughout. Kudos Robert and Anne and thank you so much for helping out a great man who had a run of bad luck but now has a new beginning and outlook on life!!!

I hired Bob Casey to represent a close relative in a few related civil and criminal matters. He handled a number of touchy negotiations with the DA on behalf of this relative, and got us a favorable conclusion. He always was a calm, reassuring and supportive presence for us. He navigated several unusual aspects of the multiple related cases skillfully. Had he not, we could have had a much worse result.

My teenage son managed to get himself into a situation where we knew he would need someone to represent him and protect his record. Attorney Casey was able to guide us all through the difficult process. We are truly grateful for his fine representation and believe that we would not have had such a successful outcome with anyone else.

I had to file for bankruptcy and file for a divorce this past year and was very uneasy of the whole process. Someone had referred Robert Casey to me, and he was an exceptional lawyer. He made the whole process go as smoothly as possible. He was very knowledgeable and helpful through everything. He was also very good at returning phone calls and being kind and considerate to each new problem that would arise. Going through a divorce and bankruptcy is a very hard thing to go through, but when you have a great lawyer, it makes it much more tolerable. I would highly recommend Robert Casey. Thanks for reading!

Bob Casey has handled several matters for me and for people referred by me. He has very good instincts and knowledge about the facts and the law and always researches the matter and prepares well. He gives the client realistic expectations and his fees are fair and reasonable. I am always pleased to have him handle business matters for me and to refer him to others.

The thought of going through a bankruptcy is an unsettling one at that. But from the initial consultation to the closure attorney Casey was thorough in every one of the many stages you go through. My case was very complex involving a collection of corporate, personal, and real estate assets that were all at risk and attorney Casey managed to achieve an outcome better than I ever would have expected! He has a compassionate way of understanding you by putting himself in your shoes and by doing so, you can be assured he is doing for you what he would do for himself. This coupled with his attention to details in the courtroom makes him in my estimation one of the best choices anyone could make when looking for someone to get the job done. And the professionalism doesn't stop with him, Tracey and Anne are cut from the same cloth. They are both equally thorough and professional in every thing they do. Its nice to be able to call his office and know they are up on the details of your case also. Usually legal matters represent a negative and somehow their office was able to put a positive twist on it all!

Attorney Casey represented me in a probate matter, as well as a follow up criminal matter. He said he was experienced with probate, and also had 30 years experience handling criminal matters.
I initially hired Attorney Casey to extricate me from a probate matter that was highly contentious, going nowhere, and costing me a small fortune. He took a bold stand in his office, but when we went to court, he was timid and reluctant to speak up to the other side, which was represented by an aggressive, attacking lawyer. He trotted back and forth between us, asking me to make concessions. I felt like he was working for them. I finally said I would withdraw, to which he agreed. But when we stood before the judge, he didn’t give any reason. I asked if he would send a follow-up letter to the other side clarifying things, so we could be sure we had finally ended the matter, but he didn’t want to do that.
Within two months, the other party conducted a forcible home invasion over the probate matter. The person was arrested on the spot, and gave a statement to the police admitting it. I then re-hired Attorney Casey to speak to the DA, who was prosecuting the now-criminal case, to provide background information. I put this in writing as an attachment to the Fee Agreement. Attorney Casey came to court with me to meet the DA, but again he wouldn't speak up. He later told me off to the side that he thought this was the best strategy.
On the day of the trial, Attorney Casey came to court to meet with the prosecuting ADA. The ADA was rushing around and never once spoke to me, although I had been assured she would. Attorney Casey sat passively and never said anything to her. When I expressed my concerns, he kept saying, “What are you worried about? What are you worried about? He’s going to be convicted.” He kept telling me the judge would not admit information about the probate case. To make matters worse, he repeatedly advised me not to volunteer any information, to which I complied against my better judgment.
The defendant was acquitted on all counts. No one – not Attorney Casey, nor the ADA, nor myself – had spoken up for me or provided any context or background to the judge. I called Attorney Casey afterwards to tell him what had happened. He said the ADA "...didn’t do her homework." But I had hired HIM to ensure that this didn’t happen.
Attorney Casey made excuses at every turn for why he shouldn’t have to say or do anything. If he had actually done something and we lost, I wouldn’t hold it against him. But he didn’t do anything and had no backup plan. He provided completely weak and ineffective representation.
