Hi, I don't write many reviews. I only write one when the service is very sub par or outstanding. I'm happy to say that Marissa knowledge and understanding of real estate law made my home sale possible. The sale wasn't the easiest because during the inspection process the buyers found issues with... some building code violations. These violations predated my purchase of the property in 2004. My original inspector and lawyer both missed pointing out these violations to me. Marissa was able to work with the buyer and the city building department to allow the sale to close. She also very accommodating to my needs. I called her on March 8 and said I needed to close the sale by March 31. She was honest and said she couldn't guarantee it but she will do her best. She explained that she had a lot of closings at the end of the month, in the end she got the job done right on the 31st. I emailed her countless time with lots of questions on how to deal with the code violations. She always had an answer and steered me in the right direction. This is the third real estate transaction that I have worked with Marissa in the last ten years. I plan to work with her again in the future. I highly recommend her legal services for your real estate needs.
