When I got a call from a bondsman saying that I had a warrant for my arrest for assaulting a family member I was hysterical to say the least. Sarah Wood helped me through a very tough time. I was called to be a witness in a case involving a loved one. Although witnesses do not have to have counsel, I personally do not trust prosecutors and did not want to go into that environment without an attorney. Sarah was professional, knowledgeable, fearless and trustworthy. She did everything she could to prepare me to testify and guided me through the whole process. When i got charged with POM ( possession of marijuana) i had no idea to what to do after calling a bunch of lawyer i finally came across Sarah wood and it was the best be thing i have ever done.
She was the first lawyer that i talked to that actually took her time and listened to my situation and explained to me all me option.
Without any hesitations i immediately was feeling confer table with her representing me on a case that could have got me a couple months in jail, costly fines, drug classes, probation.......and so much more.
Starting from the first day when we went to court she immediately started demanding the court for all the evidence that they had against me even though some of them where still not ready by the court she kept on fallowing up with it every week until she was able to get her hands on it.
Every time i went to court she explained what was going to happen and what's all my options are she even typed down a list of all my option and explained what each one of them was and what i would have to do.
After couple of weeks of fighting my case that in the beginning seemed impossible to get out of without the maximum charge, she got me the minimum charge that no one in that court room was ever able to get , a one step down from dismissal which i had to make sure that i do not get in trouble for only 90 days and everything will be dismissed.
A dismissal without any costly fees or any headache
