Ms. Hamilton represented my disabled daughter, a security guard, against an employer who effectively dismissed her by attempting to send her to a job site more than 50 miles from her home where she was a single parent and needed to make babysitter arrangements. This, in essence, was a termination and so my disabled daughter filed for unemployment insurance. The employer declined to agree. Ms. Hamilton provided telephonic representation, pro bono, in the appeal process and won the case.
