Special Immigrant Juvenile Status / Greencard

Case Conclusion Date: 02.11.2011

Practice Area: Immigration

Outcome: Greencard Success!

Description: Pro Bono case for youth who had entered unlawfully and was abandoned by her mother. She had lived without lawful immigration status in the U.S. for 12 years. I was able to have the County Juvenile Court Declare her a Dependent of the State. With that order, we requested that USCIS grant her Special Immigrant Juvenile Status and then allow her to adjust her status to that of a Lawful Permanent Resident.
