About Me

Ralph Brindley, a member of the Luvera Law Firm since 1992, focuses primarily on plaintiff's work in medical malpractice and
personal injury cases. In 1999, Brindley helped obtain a $17.75
million verdict, one of the largest medical malpractice verdicts in
Oregon state history. His trial record includes multiple jury
awards in excess of $1 million.

Brindley has been listed in Best Lawyers in America and
was selected by Seattle Magazine as
a top lawyer in Seattle. Washington Law and
has recognized Brindley as a "Super Lawyer" in each of
its annual editions.

A past member of the Board of Governors for the Washington State
Trial Lawyers Association, Brindley also is an invited member of
the American Board of Trial Advocates and the Damage Attorneys
Round Table, comprised of the top five percent of trial attorneys
in Washington representing injured people. He is a fellow of the
American College of Trial Lawyers, which represents the top one
percent of lawyers in the state, and a member of the International
Academy of Trial Lawyers, whose membership is limited to the top
500 lawyers in the world. He is also a member of the International
Society of Barristers.

Prior to joining the Luvera Law Firm, Brindley handled defense
cases for 14 years at a large Seattle law firm, and taught for five years
at the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.

Brindley has also been selected by fellow lawyers in a 2004 state
wide survey as a Super Lawyer ©. The annual survey is conducted by
Washington Law and Politics. More then 20,000 ballots were mailed to
attorneys across Washington who were asked to vote for the best lawyers
they had personally observed in action.

Brindley earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from the
University of Washington, graduating with honors in 1972. After
graduation, Brindley was stationed in Germany for three years with
the United States Army. He went on to receive his law degree from
New York University in 1978.

Brindley was born and raised in Washington. He and his wife Kathy reside in
Seattle and Brindley has three children.
