Description: A client needed a Canadian to enter the U.S. to work as an assistant to a chemical engineer as a scientific technician. The Port of Entry initially denied the TN application because the officer thought the person was involved in management duties. Joel was able to convince the officer that the position qualified under the North American Free Trade Agreement as a Scientific Technician and the person received TN status for three years.
