Client Review: Mr. Peick represented me in an action involving a complaint to the medical licensing board. He was one of very few attorneys experienced in this area of the law. He was a great advocate as he learned fast about my specialty and was able to make complellng arguments based on the law. The justice in this forum proved to be faulty to the extreme and despite our compelling arguments I was unfairly sanctioned with a censure (essentially a slap on the wrist -but with implications.) As the findings reflected non-adherence with the law we are appealing and he has been excellent and accurate in his estimations of my risks for fighting the complaint and in the chances of success in an appeal. Through this ordeal Mr. Peick has shown me great respect and he has a wonderful dark Irish sense of humor. Both of these qualities have sustained me through dark times. He has helped me curb my naive excesses in depositions and in testimony and has always kept me informed and clearly layed out my options. Despite being disappointed with the outcome and a very large expense for me I feel that my fighting this action by the state medical board has been a positive course for me to take. It has enabled me to feel that I have not thrown away my honor and I can keep my head held high. I can not imagine a better person by my side through it all.
