Jill is a fantastic attorney. Very professional and knowledgeable in her field. I have recommended her to several friends and colleagues all with great success. If she can't handle your case, she knows many attorneys in other counties for referrals. I highly recommend her.
Jill Barr is extremely knowledgeable. She knows what is important and what's irrelevant.
With the years of experience she has in family law, she also knows what to expect from the courts.
As such, she took much of the stress out of the experience and served as a much-needed barrier between the parties.
A strong advocate who fought for hard for my rights, she immediately got spousal support that paid for the retainer very quickly as well as a much greater settlement than I could have negotiated on my own. In that regard, she was well worth the money.
Last, but not least, she was easy to work with and made an extremely difficult experience much easier.
Ms. Barr is a fighter. Her style is cool, steady and methodical. She is always well prepared and leaves no stone unturned. I owe her a lot for without her I would not have my children.
Ms. Barr handled my divorce which was ugly and costly. For being a Certified Family Law specialist with over 10 yrs experience, Jil lbarr lacked knowledge, skill and assertiveness. She was not worth the $300 an hr. (more like 150) I'm sorry but my long time friend that graduated from Santa Clara University Law school (specialized in corporate law) knew more about family law than Ms, Barr. Ms. Barr milked me for as much money as she could. On top of that her paperwork was sloppy and had to be amended after the settlement; which stil lis not right either. This lawyer is not a fighter. If u just need rubber stamp then she's it, other wise I'f find someone else who really likes practicing law, wants to win and wont drag it out 1 1/2 yrs or more.
