Richard and his office staff showed nothing but professionalism, trustworthiness, and really cared about you as a person. We filed bankruptcy with another laywer because of a failed business, but this attorney dissappeared on us, we tried another and was dropped and then I saw Richard on TV. Yes, there are many "hipe" adds but his just seemed very honest and straight forward so we called. He was honest and direct with what we needed to do. Our bankruptcy was filed and ready for discharge and then we had a creditor that caused a tremendous amount of grief and almost got our bankrupcy dismissed. Richard and his staff said they would see this through and they did!. Ours time spent totaled 3 years but it is over thanks to the Alaye-Chan law office. They were always honest but showed they cared for you and your situation. His office staff were accurate and timely with all paperwork needed. They saw it through to the end. We can finally sleep after 3 years of unkown and move forward to living again. We recommend this office!

Mr. Chan was very helpful. He put our minds at ease by explaining all details because we were unsure whether this was the right course of action for us. His staff was always available to answer our questions.

The bankruptcy went as smooth as silk. No bumps, everything went just as Richard Chan said it would. I'm a little over a year out from final and we are better off today than we were when we filed. Everything went great.

I had a consultation with Richard and he was amazing! I ended up not needing his services but his advice saved me a lot of time and money. He followed up quickly on the one question I had after our meeting and let me know all the options available. Highly recommended!

I was charged with assault with a deadly weapon 242 (A) (1) PC (felony assault by means of force likely to create great bodily injury). The entire thing was a mistake and the Sacramento District Attorney’s office said I hit someone in the face with a glass and cut them. There was glass and there were injuries, but I was defending myself. At first I had the Public Defender, who tried to get me to take a deal. I consulted with Mr. Chan who told me very realistically my odds of beating the entire case were good, but he could make no guarantees. I trusted Mr. Chan and his staff, as they were very professional, returning my telephone calls regularly and answering all of my questions, and kept me informed as to what was happening at all stages of the proceedings. He investigated the case thoroughly and on the day the victim was called to testify the Sacramento District Attorney’s changed their tune and I ended up getting my entire case dismissed. After a few counseling sessions I was able to get my entire felony case dismissed. The staff at Allaye Chan Law did a tremendous job and I would recommend them to anyone with a legal problem.
