I have never had to hire a lawyer before so finding someone trustworthy can be difficult these days. From the first time I met Mr. King I knew he was the person for me. He is an outstanding person and made the whole process much more pleasant than I thought it was going to be. If you are looking for a great honest man look no further! Thank you Mr. King for making this as painless as possible. God bless you.
First off I have never had to hire a lawyer before & did not know where to begin finding the right person for my situation. After all you want to make sure that who ever it is has your best interest at heart. Well from the first time I met Mr. King and how well our conversation went I knew he would be the right person for the job. From the time I explained my situation till my last day in court he kept me in the loop. Not once did I have to call him because I was concerned about what the outcome was going to be. I have a business to run & did not have time to worry about the outcome. Thanks to Mr. King and his professionalism I now can put the past in the past and look forward to a bright future. I know there are lawyers that are not up to par but I garanttee you this man is not one of them. He takes pride in what he does, takes his profession very serious and goes above and beyond the call of duty!! He not only cares for you & your case he also understands how stressful it can be on the whole family. He made it stress free for me thus made it stress free for my family. If you are looking for someone trustworthy when it comes to your needs Mr. King is the lawyer for you. He won't let you down. Thank you Mr. King for giving me a second chance in life. Would have given you 10+ stars if I could because you deserve it!!!!!:)
Mar-tey kept my pimp hand from gettin out o control during the trail. I swear I never had relations with them animals or my vehicle and that was proven in court even though the only charges was driving my whip in de car pool lane. Mar-tey has mad knowledge
I had a case in 2007; I had no criminal record and was given a felony for forgery PC 470d. Since this case was a wobbler, which is a case that could be a misdemeanor or a felony (determined by the district attorney) would not hurt my chances of getting into the military. They gave me a felony and I have not been able to get into the military or any decent job. My attorney, Martin King, did not fight for me and gave me false information. Multiple years in school and a master degree later and I can't even use it; I cannot get a job because the original sentence (felony) that was later reduced and then expunged does not matter to any city, county, state, or federal government employers. The original sentence of the felony is all that matters. He told me it would not affect me but he was totally wrong, how a practicing criminal attorney and law professor can not know this, which leaves me to conclude he did not care or he is a liar. I have talked to other attorneys since this happened and was told this case was handled very badly. I should not have received a felony; it was totally up to the prosecutor, Gogo.
My attorney should have not allowed this to happen, my family and I knew something was off but we trusted in what he was saying. None of us had any experience in dealing with any type of litigation. GoGo and King acted like country club buddies during multiple court hearings. I guess my case was not important enough for him to fight for me, save it for the murderers. Win win situation for GoGo, felony charge for his stats and King, wink and nod for the next more important case. I scratch your back now; you scratch my back later. King left me hanging, and both knew my background, me having no criminal record, college degree, fully employed for years should have dictated a misdemeanor and not a felony. The circumstances at best showed I was a patsy because I showed my driver license to the clerk; additionally the people who I received the stolen check from had done this in the past to other people. King and the D.A. had their records I gave them their names and addresses. I just wish I would have talked to other attorneys before this happened, hindsight is better than foresight but maybe I can help someone else in this type of situation. Seven years later, graduate school, etc. I cannot progress in life for less than 2,000.00 dollars that never touched my hands. Military, county, city, state will not hire me. If I would have been sentenced correctly, the misdemeanor would have allowed me to join the military as an officer. I cannot even get a job in a group home, selling insurance, anything that requires a license or security clearance is out of my reach.
In November 2009 I got into an accident and had a .049 blood alcohol so it turned out into a felony DUI because my passenger got a broken nose. I had never been in trouble before, no ticketsd or accidents, and it was very scarry to me ( I was almost 60 years old) Marty helped me all the way and got it down to a misdemeanor for which I am so very thankfull for. He helped along also by being so nice and cheering me up as I really was devasted by the whole thing. I would recommend Marty greatly, he will help you not only with your case but also with your mental well being.
