John was hired to handle our divorce case. I gave him all the material related to the case, and he pretended to know it all. But when we were in court, he didn't know enough the detail of the case. He was passive and was not prepared well to represent me in court. I was told that he would file certain paper work to assist in my case, but he didn't. John also over charged me on his service. When I discussed the bill with them, they denied, and his office repeatedly threatened me to pay. On one instance, we were in court for one hour and he charged almost 3 hours of attorney fee. He claimed traveling time. But the distance to court from his office is less than 10 miles. The office work was billed using attorney rate instead of using office clerk rate. This business practice is very unethical. The attorney fee was just a nightmare. I hope Bar Association would investigate and audit his business conduct. I had nothing but trouble with his office, and worst of all, my divorce case was screwed and I had to hire another attorney to fix up my case.
