Gilbert Kirwin was recommended to me through a client of my wife's, but Gib treated me like family. He came to visit me at my home in Burlingame and talked me through the process and possibilities. He spoke to me clearly and despite my ignorance regarding insurance, he made me feel comfortable with the situation. Gib made me feel like everything was going to be okay and stayed in regular communication with me throughout the subsequent months and ongoing paperwork.
I would recommend Gib to a friend without hesitation.

Gib Kirwin represented me in a wrongful death lawsuit against a major trucking firm after my sister was struck and killed while crossing the street in front of her condo in San Francisco. During an extremely emotional time for me, Gib took charge of investigating and documenting my case. He was thorough and professional and he kept me well informed as the case progressed.

As I got to know Gib better, I realized that he was what some people might call "old school." That's a compliment, because I never had to call him to find out what was happening and I never had to worry about whether he was working the case. Whenever their was a development in the case, Gib would be on the phone immediately to keep me up to date. I am old enough to remember when service like that was fairly commonplace in this country, but it is pretty rare today.

I am unable to comment on the outcome of the lawsuit (part of the settlement) except to say that it was settled favorably. I am quite sure that the result was in large part due to the hard work and flawless preparation of my attorney, Gilbert Kirwin. I would reccommend Gib to anyone both as a fine attorney and as a good man who can be trusted (another trait that is becoming increasingly rare).
