Outcome: Reedley City Police Dept sued our client

Description: Reedley City Police Department, and all its officers, sued our client to restrain him from videotaping police officers while in the performance of their duties in public. We filed a SLAPP motion to dismiss and strike the police department's complaint/petition for a restraining order. We won, Judge Conklin wrote an opinion, and the City of Reedley was ordered to pay our clients' 8000.00+ in attorney fees. The matter was 'constitutional' in nature because it involved our clients' 1st amendment rights.
