Attorney Wasson was always honest never making false promises. Yet, he was encouraging and was on my side. He let me explain myself and gave me excellent representation. He always tried to ease my concerns. He met the criteria I was looking for in all area I needed. When I first met him he was honest about what I needed him for exactly and that really impressed me. He could have charged more and I would have never known the difference. He got my charges dismissed after arraignment and before pre-trial. He was on my side with the DA and I could tell when it was going to go our way!. This was due to his knowledge of my case. I was so happy and feel like justice was served. I have so many things on my plate at this time and it really eased my mind to have this taken care of. He followed up and made sure I received ASAP my dismissal papers for my records.

I hired Mr. Wasson over a year ago when I was cited for DUI. He was able to get my BAL reduced through a plea, I only had to do the 3 month program, and avoided any jail time or community service. I would not hesitate to recommend him, or god forbid, hire him again.

I was accused of driving under the influence after being awoke by a Highway Patrolman while sleeping in my car. I requested a DMV hearing to contest the allegation and was represented superbly by Mr. Wasson. We went into the hearing and Mr. Wasson told the hearing Officer exactly what the Highway Patrolman was going to say before the CHP Officer even came into the room. Mr. Wasson explained how the Highway Patrolman was using the community caretaking function to justify an illegal detention and subsequent investigation and the hearing officer agreed. My suspension was stayed and I can now legally drive. Mr. Wasson is a fighter who will go to bat for you. He knows the law and showed a passion for my case that proved to me that he legitimately wants to win.

Hands down James Wasson is the best lawyer in the Fresno area. Long story short I was facing a felony domestic violence charge and a very persistent district attorney. Wasson was able to get my charges dismissed in the preliminary hearing stages of court. I honestly do not believe this would be the case if it wasn't for Mr Wasson. From my first meeting Wasson was honest, up front and always attentive. He worked my case like it was his one and only and he seemed to really care about me. All said and done, I would recommend James Wasson to anyone that finds themselves in a bind and needs an excellent attorney.

Mr. Wasson knows the traffic laws well. I was stopped for having dealer paper plates on my car, I had recently purchased the car from a car dealer. The cop tried to say because there were no regular license plates he could stop me. On the contrary, dealer paper plates are authorized by the DMV, the DMV regulates car dealers and tells the it is legal to drive a car on public streets with dealer paper plates until the regular license plates arrive. We won the DMV hearing as a result, the traffic stop was determined by the DMV to be an illegal traffic stop. Cops should know the law but it appears they do not. If you need a great traffic Attorney, hire James Wasson.

Mr. Wasson was extremely knowledgeable with DUI procedures. A conviction of a DUI would have otherwise ruined by career in transportation. Mr. Wasson was very thorough and was able to achieve a much lesser, non-alcohol related charge which saved my career and my record remains clean due to his efforts. I would recommend this attorney to anyone with an alcohol related driving offense. He will be upfront and honest from the first consultation and throughout the legal process.

I just want to thank Mr. Wasson for the excellent job he and his team did representing me. I was stopped at a sobriety checkpoint after I was driving back home from a holiday office party. In all honesty I had only had about 2 or 3 alcoholic drinks and did not feel 'buzzed' or impaired to drive at all, so I was honest with the police officer and told him I had two or three drinks. I ended up blowing more than the limit of .08, to which I was totally surprised. I was charged with a DUI. This was my first offense of any kind, and was very scared of the consequences a DUI could have in my future, especially since I am in the medical field and these things are very frowned on. I right away did an internet search for a very good DUI attorney and ran into Mr. Wasson. He was great in explaining the whole process to me, and reassured me that this could be beat, and so the stress level that I was experiencing came down. Mr. Wasson fought for me all the way, he did a motion to suppress the DUI charge. He was able to prove that the police department that set up the checkpoint did not have enough statistical data, was able to uncover numerous things and paperwork that the police had wrong on setting up that checkpoint. He was able to get my case totally DISMISSED. I will forever be grateful to him and his team. I highly recommend to anyone passing through similar circumstances to hire Mr. Wasson.

It was truly a pleasure working with Mr. Wasson and his associate Ms. Elliot. They helped to resolve an exceptionally stressful problem in as seamless a manner as possible. Mr. Wasson employed an extremely aggressive approach in fighting the charges against me.
After being pulled over by police, I was given a field sobriety test and twice administered a breathalyzer test which registered BAC's of .09 and .10. I later had blood drawn which resulted in a BAC of .11. Mr. Wasson was relentless in his pursuit of the video and audio of the night in question, and was able to have all charges against me dropped and my license reinstated. Do not hesitate to call him should you find yourself in need of legal counsel. He goes to bat for his clients and will give his best effort to see that you are afforded not only the best representation, but also that you are kept well informed throughout the entire legal process. Can not recommend highly enough!

Mr. Wasson is a great lawyer. He is honest and direct. As soon is I explained my case he told me he could get it dismissed and that's exactly what he did. He made me feel he was really on my side.
And even helped me with a payment plan. If you have been wrongfully accused or need I case dismissed I would highly recommend Mr. Wasson to anybody..

The public defendant asked me if I needed a lawyer and I told her that Mr. Wasson was my lawyer, she said "Ohhh, he is good." James Wasson was able to suppress the evidence in a CHP checkpoint case, which is very tough to do, on my behalf. I felt like I did not have a chance at winning the case but but his command of the courtroom was amazing that I was taken aback by how persuasive he was. I was proud to have him representing me. His knowledge on various DUI cases are vast. Wasson will show you the cases that he will use to present your case so you have a full understanding on what is going to happen when he argues the case. If you call him he will respond as soon as possible. He is very inviting and makes you feel like you are his most important client. He was a great lawyer and was very happy that I chose him. I strongly recommend him if you have received a DUI.
