Good attorney, but expensive

Bell Island defended me all the way through trial on my DUI. He got the DMV license suspension thrown out after the state trooper failed to call in to the suspensiont hearing and I was found not guilty in the criminal trial. He managed to get the breathalyzer results results thrown out, which left ...the state with no case. He charged $100.00 to decide if he would take my case. He accepted the case for a fee of $6000.00 He then hired an expert witness which never testified for an additional $3000.00 After the trial, another $1700.00 charge showed up on my credit card. I guess I would recommend him if it is worth almost $11,000.00 for somebody to beat a DUI.

He is dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge and constantly strives to be the best legal advocate. He attends the nations top DUI conferences so that he can always be prepared and knowledgeable when representing clients. "I know Attorney Island. He has earned a national reputation for effectively representing motorists accused of a crime. He has the necessary reputation, knowledge and experience to eliminate or minimize the consequences of the government's accusation. He is a very effective and skilled litigator who has the guts to stand up to the government and their accusations to demand evidence, not simply an accusation. He is highly ethical and trustworthy. I trust him. You should too."

"I met Bell about 4 years ago while going through field sobriety tests training, which police officers go through. It was an optional training Bell had sought out to better understand how to defend DUI cases. Since that time, I have seen Bell every year at conferences dedicated to defending DUIs. Not only is Bell personable and kind, but he is absolutely committed to defending those accused of DUIs. He is the only one of his kind his state, and in the top percentage of all DUI lawyers in the country. He is one of the most knowledgeable, hard working lawyers I have ever encountered. Without reservation I recommend this lawyer and would send my closest family member to him."
