I have been a trial lawyer over 30 years. I have completed 282 felony jury trials, including 50 homicides. I have completed over thirty Special Circumstance cases. In 2002 the California Public Defenders Assn. gave me the Defender of the Year award; in 2003 the Kern County Bar Assn. gave me the Atticus Finch Award. I often lecture on criminal defense topics at CPDA seminars, colleges, and law enforcement.
