He said that he would send the retainer to me the next day. I never received it and when I reached out by email he responded with "I'll pass. "Was he trying to... show me that attorneys are liars and can't be trusted ? Confusing and very strange and unprofessional experience.

I have been in business for 30+ years and this is the rudest person I've ever talked to. I was recommended by another lawyer to contact Syverson. Sent an online form and left 2 messages to request a consultation. Never heard back. Gave up but was recommended again so I kept calling. They do not care... about potential customers. Finally reached him on the phone. I suffer from migraines so it's hard for me to be fast on the fly to questions. He's said "what do you want?" as if I called the wrong number. I said isn't this the law firm? He said rudely, don't know you who you call? So I got past that and asked for a defamation lawyer and a consultation. He said we could do it in 30 seconds which is impossible based on the complexity of my situation. He asked me what was said which I had to quickly pull up a spreadsheet of slander. I went through the list and he said OPINION OPINION UNACTIONABLE. He was so rude that I was just STUNNED and was struggling to give him more things that would explain my case. He then said hurry up I have to go. I mean does this guy want business or what? I ended up just saying thanks for nothing and hanging up. I was really excited about this lawyer and he was my #1 choice based on his great website, but this is the last person you should ever give your business. He's worse than the problem I'm trying to solve.
