    Simply the best!

I've found Mr. James Smith through online search. Since I am living in New York City it was hard for me to find a very good attorney. It took me a few calls with a couple of attorneys in Las Vegas, Nevada and none of them returned my call. When I found Mr. Smith, immediately he returned my call and said he would represent me. I followed my instinct and went for him. He was very approachable, experienced and trustworthy. He assured me that my case is nothing to worry about. Despite of his busy schedule he managed to follow up on the progress of my case via call and text messages. In less than a month, my case was finalized. I was very happy that I went with him and chose him to represent me despite of not meeting him in person. Thank you for all your help Mr. Smith. 100% I recommend him!

    Excellent job

I was a client of James in a separation case.
He did an excellent job kept costs low and met my every expectation.

In another matter he solved a potential law suit with one letter.

Generally don't like lawyers but really got to like and appreciate James .

    Excellent Service Delivery

James' knowledge of his subject matter and the Court environment gave me confidence that I can rely on him to successfully bring my petition to a positive conclusion. He did an excellent job and I am a very satisfied customer. I would also like to commend his friendly, courteous, and super efficient staff. Their teamwork was excellent and they stayed very customer focused throughout the engagement.

James' service offering (Divorce in Navada) is more than highly recommended.

I have worked with Mr. Smith for the past two years with Estate Planning issues and document reviews. He is knowledgeable and professional, as well as honest regarding potential Estate Planning pitfalls and legal matters.

    Knowledge is Power

James Smith knows his stuff. I really appreciate a highly intelligent, street smart, experienced, cautious, reliable, determined, well-educated and well-read, capable lawyer. I have been dealing with lawyers for a long time and I've learned to hire only the best of them due to my experience in business, property management & development. One of the qualities that I look for is determination and someone who knows how to think outside the box (as I do) and also someone who never assumes anything so that resolutions can be pursued with an open mind using a clean slate. James is very open-minded and creative when it comes to solutions to dilemmas. He has developed systems, styles, and skills that are far more impressive than most attorneys I have dealt with in the past -- he certainly is way up there with the best of them. Additionally, James is very honest and forthright in his dealings and in practices. You don't have to worry about over-billing, he is very fair and generous. I deeply respect his honesty & integrity and this also helps to get issues resolved properly and quickly. James takes his time to explain everything in detail, to answer all questions, and to consider all options before he advises you. Nobody wants to be in the litigation mode longer than they need to be. Time is money and litigation is not pleasant. James has a good "bedside manner" and makes everything so much easier! He is very knowledgeable and skillful in knowing how to get problems solved the best way possible in light of all circumstances present. You can be sure that when he walks into the courtroom he is fully prepared to passionately argue your case using every law, angle, precedent, fact, and circumstance to your advantage. James is a walking library and if he doesn't know something he is the first to tell you that and find out for you. I appreciate the way he conducts his business and I know I can put my back up to him and trust him and his judgment. You will find this out for yourself, also, should you retain him to assist you. I highly recommend him and appreciate all of the help he has given me through the years.

Someone who knows James Edward Smith very well

James is a very knowledgeable, well educated, sensitive, caring and passionate lawyer. He is also 100% ethical, trustworthy, and honest. He cares about his clients and truly does his best to help them with their predicaments and legal issues. He is a very wise man and his wisdom is very helpful in getting matters resolved and settled which is very important as the cost of going to trial anymore is very expensive, time consuming, & heart-wrenching in most cases. He is extremely passionate when it comes to representing his clients and very persuasive with judges & commissioners. He is good at getting matters settled and fairly so. He works well with other counsel and is persuasive for his client in the process of doing so. Other lawyers respect him and this helps to get matters dealt with and settled. He knows his trade well and if there is something he does not know he is quick to learn and study so that he is fully informed in the premises. I have seen many lawyers mess up for their client in court or otherwise because they were unfamiliar with some aspect of the law and their client suffers because of this incompetence. James is very competent and extremely capable. He values his clients and treats them well and has a conscience when it comes to being fully competent and prepared for battle so that he is not the weak link. You will be very satisfied with his services. He is one of the best lawyers I have met in my many years of hiring counsel to represent me in all kinds of business and personal situations. I know a good lawyer when I meet one and James will not disappoint you. He will become part of your address book, instead.
