About Me

While not a true Arizona native, I do have deep roots
in the valley. I spent most of my childhood growing up on my grandfather’s dairy farm in the West
Valley.  Before I was old enough to
go to school, I was irrigating crops, feeding calves, treating sick animals, and helping with any chore that needed to be done around the
dairy. Not only did these responsibilities provide a good outlet for all my childhood energy, they more importantly helped me foster a strong work ethic which I maintain to this day.

With age came more responsibility, and in my early 20’s, my brother and I took on the reins of our very own herd.  We started out with 80
cows and eventually grew that number to over 1,000.  While on the farm, I served in leadership positions with both the
Arizona Holstein Association and the Maricopa Dairy Herd Improvement
Association, while still managing to successfully complete my undergraduate studies at Arizona State University.

After selling off the herd in 2006, I
headed off to Salt Lake City, with my wife and two children, to attend the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah. While in law school, I clerked for a family law
firm in Utah and another in Arizona.  I currently focus my practice
on family law, bankruptcy, debt settlement, and personal injury.

I enjoy snowboarding, movies, paintball, and shooting.  I am also an instrument rated pilot.
