Thomas Quentin Benson

I have been practicing law in Colorado for over 40 years.  My focus is to help people with their simple and complex estate planning needs to make sure that their assets and their wishes are protected.

I also practice corporate law where I enjoy seeing clients form, grow and plan their businesses success.  I can help them with formation documents, stockholder, shareholder agreements, non-compete agreements and then help them to plan their transition out of the business.

I am an active volunteer in many community organizations including the USA Council of Serra International, the Denver Estate Planning Council, Judicial Performance committee and many others.

I was in the U.S. Navy Reserves JAG unit from 1972 to 1998 rising to the rank of Captian.  I am still involved with my unit through interviewing potential candidates and organizing the annual alumni lunch.

My interests outside of the law include languages and running.  I keep a list of a few basic phrases (Hello, Goodbye, Thank You) in over 85 languages so that I can reference it whenever the need arises.  I also love running.  I have completed 10 marathons, running in Colorado, New York, California, Arizona and Illinois.
