Unless you request a specific attorney from Harris Family Law, odds are that you -- like me -- may be assigned a lawyer with the least amount of work and/or experience. I was fortunate enough to have Elissa research a critical part of my case for my assigned lawyer or it would have ended worse than it did. So...if you are unhappy with your lawyer there, switch before it's too late.
Elissa is intelligent, resourceful, and passionate about the law. She is the kind of attorney you'll want on your side if your narcissist spouse hires a high-powered attorney intent on annihilating you like mine did to me. I imagine she would do equally well mediating more amicable cases.
At the time of this review, I've worked with 13 attorneys in different areas of law. Those who aren't family law attorneys are for the most part, extremely competent at their jobs. Divorce lawyers largely earn their disdain from the public because so much of what you hear I learned is true. At least it was in my case. So it's with pleasure that I highly recommend Elissa.

I hired Elissa for my divorce case after firing my first nightmare lawyer. Elissa and her paralegal kept me totally in the loop and even suggested things that I could do without them to save me from more attorney's fees. I would recommend Elissa and I wish I would have hired her at the beginning of my divorce.
