Biography
I was born and raised in McAllen, TX and graduated from Col. James "Nikki" Rowe High School and the IB Academy. After graduating from high school I attended Texas A&M University where I was a member of the band and worked in the financial aid office. After my time at Texas A&M, I attended law school at Texas Tech University School of Law.
While in law school I participated in mock trials, moot cout, and negotiations. I was also a member of the Administrative Law Journal, the only such journal in the state of Texas, and served on their executive board. I also participated in the Criminal Defense Clinic in my third year where I was able to practice criminal defense while still in school.
I am licensed to practice in the state of Texas and I handle cases in Nueces County, Hidalgo County, and the surrounding counties.

Great Attorney!!!!
Mr. Olivarez was a court appointed attorney who got my felony case dismissed. He kept me informed as to the status of my case and always returned my calls when I left messages. He is an awesome attorney who really cares. I would highly recommend him to handle any case you may have.

I was looking at some serious charges and Mario was able to get them dismissed before even going to court. When the district attorney said he hadn't submitted some motions Mario had the proof. I am completely satisfied with Mario and strongly suggest hiring him.
