I was charged with assault with a deadly weapon on January 16,2014. I was in jail thinking to myself I lost my wife and kids not getting out. I prayed and said lord find me a way out cause I know if I believe in you u will send me someone help me back to my family. So after my second call to my wife she said a lawyer got my message called her back and was coming next day see me. While I sat in the holding tank they called me up saying your getting out on a attorney bond.I was so happy and thanked the lord for sending me someone who would give me my family back. Got out and met Brandon Hudson right away I felt this lawyer is good.We went to the scene right away he recorded me react what happened and told me he was more than 100% sure he win my case so few months went by reset and nothing so I didn't give up on him. Finally on Oct of 2014 my wife and I where waiting outside of courtroom while he talked to district attorney a hour went by and he walked toward stairs exit called me and I followed. I am so glad my Lord blessed me with a great laywer. I would recommend anyone with any case use Brandon Hudson he is a great lawyer and worth every dollar. He fights to win and he gots such a good reputation he number one lawyer to me.
Hi, I am a full time student who was moving to fast in life that I ended up getting charged with a Misdemeanor of Possession of Marijuana. I was recommended to Douglas Daniel from my bonds lady. She said he is the best in San Antonio for this and sure enough he was. I was able to get it dismissed I was so happy that I went to him. He was and is a awesome lawyer to have by your side. Thank you! God bless! :)
I am a professional living in San Antonio, Texas. In March of 2013, I was charged with a felony that I did not commit, stemming from allegations associated with my divorce a few months earlier. If convicted of the charge or if I accepted a plea deal pertaining to the charge, I would have lost my professional license, I would have been forced to register as a sex offender for the rest of my life and I could have possibly been sent to prison for 2 to 10 years. My life, as I knew it would have essentially been over. The first attorney I hired to handle my case did a horrible job and I ultimately had to fire him. I searched for and interviewed other attorneys to handle my case. Upon explaining my case to one potential attorney, the attorney refused to take my case because he thought that he would not be able to win the case.
I then contacted Brandon Hudson in January of 2014 and interviewed him to handle my case. In our first phone conversation, I explained my case to Mr. Hudson and I could tell he was very smart, knowledgeable of the law and very eager to assist me with my case. He also had a very positive attitude, which I thought was great. From January 2014 to July 2014, Mr. Hudson explained the details of my case and the District Attorney’s case to me, accompanied me to several court appearances and attempted to negotiate with the District Attorney’s office. During that time, the District Attorney’s office refused to dismiss the case and seemed intent on taking the case to trial and seeking the maximum punishment for me. Due to the fact that I was innocent, I was willing to go to trial to prove my innocence. This was one of the hardest decisions to make during the most difficult and trying time of my life.
My case went to trial in August of 2014. Mr. Hudson’s trial preparation was meticulous and thorough. By the time the case went to trial, Mr. Hudson was well prepared with all of the facts of the case and all of various areas of the law that could prove my innocence. During all phases of my trial, Mr. Hudson fought very hard for me and did an excellent job at pointing out many inconsistencies and untruths in the District Attorney’s case. The jury deliberated for seven and a half hours and was unable to reach a unanimous verdict. The trial ended in a hung jury, with the jury count being 9 to 3 in my favor. I was pleased with the outcome of the trial and it was due to Mr. Hudson’s skill and knowledge as an attorney. I had to wait an additional five months before the District Attorney’s Office finally decided to drop the charge and dismiss the case in January of 2015. The Motion to Dismiss indicated that the 2014 trial ended in a hung jury and there was not enough evidence to prove that I was guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Mr. Hudson is currently assisting me in expunging my arrest record.
The nearly two years that I dealt with the felony charge and the District Attorney’s Office was a horrible experience that no one should have to endure. Mr. Hudson’s assistance with my case gave me hope when many friends and family members turned their backs on me. During my time with Mr. Hudson, he always did an excellent job in responding to me when I called him to inquire about my case. Mr. Hudson always did an excellent job explaining all aspects of my case to me whenever I had questions. Mr. Hudson always fully explained, not only the positive points of my case, but also any negative or weak areas of my case. Mr. Hudson’s expertise has given me a second chance at life and for that I will always be grateful to him. During the course of my time with Mr. Hudson, I have grown to consider him not only my attorney, but also my friend. I would recommend Mr. Hudson to anyone looking for a smart, dependable and knowledgeable criminal defense attorney.
I am very persistent with new ideas and as I brought them up I failed to understand some of the reasoning behind it. There were times I asked Brandon to make everything better, he calmed me down a little and walked me through, step by step, on how to try to get my problem to go away, but unfortunately I would have to wait till the court date to present everything I needed to do. His information helped me decide on what was best and we waited it out. Luckily the problem resolved itself and I ended up not having to do everything that was requested, but it was good to be ready.
Our son totaled out his truck and the police report couldn't have sounded worse. Three days later , our son tried to take his own life. We had only spoke to Brandon briefly, and we had not hired him. Recently moving to Texas, we were extremely overwhelmed. Our son was looking at DUI's and later an incident that envolved a felony drug charge. He called me back, the night my son was rushed to the hospital, and to our disbelief went to the hospital and talked to our son. We knew then, this was a sign from the Lord. He has been our attorney close to 2 years. Our son never spent more than a few hours in holding jail, as Attorney Hudson told us exactly what we needed to do. He got to know our son extremely well and all his intelligent suggestions were never wrong. Our son has come such a long way. He is presently not drinking or doing illegal drugs and this has a lot to do with Brandon Todd Hudson being the BEST there is for understanding, compassion, and giving the outstanding defense. We never went to Trial, though it loomed over our son, he was able to keep him out of prison and is currently on probation. To say the least, our son would not do well in prison. It is nothing short of a miracle what Attorney Hudson was able to procur. He is a blessed person and fantastic defense attorney. You will never find one who gets to know you, and really trully cares for your well-being both legally and physically. Being arrested affects everyone who loves the person, so don't make a terrible mistake and hire a smooth talker who is only interested in the dollar signs. I am a professional, myself, and have hired two attorneys in the past for our son. They took our money and pleaded nolo contendre and gave us horrible advice. The small offenses add up so Attorney Hudson had his hands full when he took my son's case. Do whatever it takes to hire Attorney Hudson, so you can have the peace of mind, you hired the BEST in Texas and on this planet.
I want to attest to the stature of Attorney Brandon Hudson and the type of man he is.
Brandon Hudson, felt so strongly about the injustice that was being served on me after hearing about my case that he spoke with my attorney Jeffery Linick and offered his services to me Pro bono. It is rare indeed to see this kind of dedication to law and the pursuit of justice. That a lawyer would freely give his time to a person that is clearly being railroaded by the Justice system. It was an Honor having him join my team and stand with me in my fight to keep my freedom and prove my innocence
The dedication and perseverance that both Jeff Linick and Brandon Hudson gave to my case is truly beyond words. I can with all honesty in my heart tell you that if you ever need counsel and find yourself faced with a judicial system that is so misguided and poorly managed then Brandon Hudson and Jeffery Linick are two of the finest men you could have to represent you.
With Jeffery Linick and Brandon Hudson by my side through what I can only describe as the darkest days of my life. I Felt confident and protected by these two men who gave their time and experience to see that my rights were upheld and that I would be cleared of any wrong doing.
My case was dismissed
Brandon provided excellent services to our family during a recent legal case that had tremendous implications on my son. From the first phone call, he began to establish his expertise in dealing with the "system" in matters like the one we faced. He listened my son's side of the case, explained the potential outcomes, identified some factors that could seriously impact the case (both positively and negatively), and made very specific suggestions about next steps to take to both prevent us from making things worse (even accidentally) and to begin to prepare for trial, if needed. His background as a former prosecutor was invaluable in giving us insight into how the District Attorney's office would act, and was very helpful in negotiating an acceptable outcome that reduced the negative impact of the outcome of my son's case. Throughout the process, he kept us informed, he responded quickly to our questions and issues, and he treated us all with the utmost respect. Most importantly, he demonstrated that he genuinely cared about my son and our entire family. And it is evident that his work, legal expertise and, after numerous "back and forths" with the DA's office, his effective negotiation skills secured a much more positive outcome than we expected at the beginning of the process. While I hope I never need his services again, I would return to Brandon in a heartbeat based on the quality and caring support he provided to our family if a situation arose in the future.
Quite simply, Brandon saved my future. I'm a professional and was fortunate enough to come across Brandon when I did. With a case that could have very easily made it's way into the media, Brandon protected my image the entire time. I have not lost a single client during the entire process and my privacy has been a key success.
Facing a ridiculous amount of jail time for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, as well as making the wrong decisions, Brandon fought to have my punishment to be practically nothing. If you are a professional that needs to not skip a beat with your career, do not waste your money on the attorneys that waste their time on hokey billboards. If you have a high profile case, Brandon Hudson is the only person you should consider working with. Period.
Choosing Brandon is a no-brainer. There's a reason he is always listed as one of the Super Attorneys in San Antonio. Be upfront with him and do NOT hide anything. There is nothing, NOTHING, you can tell him that he hasn't heard before. If you want him to do precisely what he's phenomenal at, then be honest. He is on your side and to say he's a shark in the court room is an understatement. Watching his brain work while considering every possible scenario of what your best move is, will let you know you have chosen the right attorney.
I am one of his clients now and will never switch to another attorney. He was able to make sure I did not jeopardize my own case by being inpatient or putting my foot in my mouth. He makes himself available and does not pull punches. The one thing I noticed was that he cared about my outcome as much as I did—enough to tell me what I needed to do and when. He's not always "sweet," but let me make sure I don't mince words... he's as sure of a sure thing as you could hope for and if he is telling you "how it is" and "how it's going to be"—LISTEN! If you are in some kind of trouble, no matter how bad, contact Brandon. It will be the first good night's sleep you will have and though he's not allowed to tell you that you will win your case (like all attorneys), if he takes you on, you will win your case or, at the very least, have an outcome that you will be pleased with.
Lastly, Brandon was able to re-unite me with my child and in a way that no one else would have been able to accomplish. He knows the right people and precisely what to say to them and when. I CAN NOT stress this enough—white collar crime, DUI, Federal Crime, Sex Crimes—THIS IS YOUR GUY.
Mr. Hudson was someone I had never met until a friend gave me his name along with a couple other lawyers. I interviewed with all 3 before I chose Mr. Hudson. I am confident we chose the right man for the job. All along, he under-promised and over delivered. The end result he orchestrated in our particular case was so much better than what other people, including lawyers, had told us to expect.
One thing is for sure, because Mr. Hudson has very good skills in a courtroom and has tried so many cases, I definitely could tell the prosecutor in our case was a lot less cocky with us than he acted around some of the other people in court whose lawyers seemed less sure of themselves.
