Outcome: Affirmed in favor of Petitioner

Description: This was a Bexar County termination of parental rights case in which I represented the Petitioner who was the mother of an infant boy seeking the termination of parental rights of the father. The Respondent, the father of the infant, had been convicted of sexually molesting the Petitioner's daughter. The Respondent had been sent to prison before the infant boy was even born. At trial the Court ruled in favor of Petitioner and terminated the Respondent's parental rights to the infant boy. The Respondent appealed the ruling to the 4th Court of Appeals. The 4th Court of Appeals affirmed the ruling of the Trial Court in favor of my client.
