About Me

Courtney focuses almost exclusively on family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, modification, enforcement, and pre- and post-marital agreements.  She is also court-appointed to advocate for the the best interest of children.

She assists and advises clients during some of the most challenging periods of their lives with caring and warmth, while remaining a vigilant, no-nonsense advocate. She understands the importance of an expeditious resolution to her clients’ cases and does her best to ensure that her clients’ needs are met as cost-effectively as possible.

She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Houston with a double major in English (concentrating in linguistics) and psychology in 2004. She then graduated in the top 25% of her class from South Texas College of Law in 2007. While at South Texas, she interned at the South Texas College of Law Legal Clinic where she provided legal services to low-income clients in the areas of divorce, guardianship, and Social Security and was awarded the Pro Bono Honors Designation for her service to the community. She also received the American Jurisprudence Award for earning the highest grade in her Research and Writing class. In addition to practicing law, Ms. Kaisand has spent many years as an adjunct instructor, teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages at Lone Star College – North Harris.

Ms. Kaisand has lived in Spring, Texas since 1984. She was a classical singer in college and still enjoys singing.
