I have never felt so comfortable and nurtured by an attorney in my life, or ever for that matter. Ami was warm, caring, honest, (YES! you read that right!) intelligent and didn't fill me with a bunch of political and bureaucratic crap that I didn't need or want to hear. I felt welcome and invited. The best way to describe it was that it felt like somebody was genuinely trying to help me and not just take my money. That was her last concern.
Ami analyzed and sifted through all the facts of my case and we were caught in a meaningful and helpful conversation before I knew it. There is not enough words to describe my appreciation to this lady. She helped me in more ways than she could know. We have all "dealt" with attorneys before, but with this one, you won't have to.
Thank you , Ami.
I have found my forever attorney! After years of a bitter custody battle and years of hiring attorneys, some of which were listed as Texas Monthly's, "Best of the Best," I can tell you, they were not the best. Some were as crooked as my X and some were simply incompetent. I have finally found, "The Best of the Best!" I am so pleased with attorney Ami Decker. The first thing that struck me was how well she knows the law. Mrs. Decker, tells it like it is! Also, she is very ethical in her billing practices. If you've ever had an attorney that wasn't you'd know, it can stress you out almost as much as your custody battle. Mrs. Decker is more than kind and compassionate, she is respectful of your input and discernment as well. I found her ability to communicate remarkable. She was very patient with me. I am afflicted with serious ADD and it is significant enough, that some often think I am slow or odd. It hasn't been uncommon for previous attorneys to treat me in a condescending manner because of this, but not Mrs. Decker. As brilliant as she is, she is the most down to earth, unpretentious person you'll ever meet. Last but not least, for the first time in my life, I don't think, "I know," that someone's got my back. I think all parents concerned about the well-being of their children need an attorney like Ami Decker.
Best Regards, Mrs. Cox
