Biography
My experience in the area of family law spans close to 20 years and have dedicated my legal career to the area of family law. Because the law is ever changing, I make it a point to attend several legal seminars each year in the area of family law. I have been a member of the Tarrant County Family Law Bar Association for over ten years, a member of the American Bar Association, Tarrant County Bar Association, Tarrant County Family Law Bar Association, Texas, and State Bar College, Texas Family Law Foundation. I am currently a board member of the Tarrant County Family Law Association for the year 2011.
I was privileged to work with SafeHaven of Tarrant County, Texas in the area of immigration representing victims of domestic violence and truly believe that each individual has the right to competent, responsible, and trustworthy representation.
The area of family law is one of the most contentious areas of law and places people in an emotional, life changing, rollercoaster. An attorney focusing their practice to family law must understand the legal needs of a client but must consider the client’s desire for a fair and just outcome. While I believe cooperation among attorneys is essential, I am resolved to representing a client’s legal rights with conviction to insure a proper and just outcome.
