About me

I am a solo practitioner in family law, administrative law,
appellate law and probate. In my previous lives, I've been a legal aid
attorney, Chief of Litigation for the Child Support Division, and
Presiding Administrative Law Judge for the Office of the Attorney

One of my most prominent suits was as a legal aid attorney in which
the right to counsel for indigent child support obligors was
established in Ridgway v. Baker, 720 F.2d 1409 (5th Cir. 1983). I was
also involved in litigation resulting in the right of indigent
appellants to a free verbatim statement of facts where previously they
were only entitled to the court reporter's narrative. In the Interest

I have found that the practice of law offers exceptional opportunities
to enrich the lives of the powerless and the disenfranchised.
