Description: I represented 27 plaintiffs who were patients of a doctor who allegedly operated a "pill mill".Many of the plaintiff's died of accidental drug overdoses. A pharmacy which was connected to the clinic was alleged to have acted in concert with the doctor in dispensing controlled substances without a valid medical purpose. The doctor was also the subject of a criminal investigation and was indicted for his prescribing practices. As a result of his prescribing practices, his medical license was revoked.
