This firm is terrible. From May 2011-currently I have not gotten my divorce. I have paid them, I have been in court and all I was told was it takes time! This firm set on their behinds for 11 months and did nothing but suffle papers and then the bomb drop, my spouse got an attorney to represent him and he is in jail! Now this firm wants to get busy but not without charging me for everything short of the ink in the fax. And they now want to drop me for failure to pay. However nothing has been done-my case is no longer about the divorce from a spousal abuser(this is why Im seeking a divorce) but about who gets paid before discussing the divorce. This firm has lost its way to the problem at hand. This firm wants money and will ignore you when you can no longer pay. This firm will turn your case against you by not returning calls and sending repeated request for the same things that causes charges to increase. This firm is not aggressive or talkative on your behalf. This firm is too expensive for the work they choose to do in the time they want to do in.
Barry Gordon is one of the worse attorneys I've ever experienced retaining. He was rude, would curse at me, gave me an inexperienced attorney to handle my case. He would call me with such a nasty disposition and charged for every little thing and did abosoletely nothing. I had to rid my self and have an outrageous outstanding bill when nothing was done. Please beware of this attorney. I had no idea what I was dealing with.
