I was facing a 2nd offense OWI and the consequences that I could have faced would have crippled my financial stability as well as my ability to drive a motor vehicle which my business depends on. I called several attorneys and many gave me the same answer that I was facing a certain 2nd conviction and it seemed liked they wouldn't even try. A friend had refered me to Edward Sternisha and said he does a great job. From the very first phone call to the time my case was finished Ed had let me know every step of the way the status of my case and had spent alot of time reviewing my case and I felt like he was definitely do his best. In the end not only did Ed get my Breathalyzer Refusal case thrown out but he also was able to get my pending 2nd offense OWI thrown out as well. I cannot thank Ed enough for his hard work and commitment to my case he really showed he cared and that meant alot to me. Ed gets a definite 10 out of 10 in my book and I would highly recommend him for anyone facing a DUI/OWI conviction. Thank you again Ed for everything.
Ed was an awesome attorney, he always kept me informed and always made sure I knew what was happening. He is extremely knowledgeable and explains everything in great detail! He kept in contact and always responded to questions or concerns in a timely matter. I was very pleased with my experience with him and I'd defiantly recommend him to family, friends or anyone.
I hired Ed to represent me on an MIP charge that dated back to 2003. I have been living out of state the past 12 years, after returning to Michigan i was arrested on a warrant from this MIP that i had forgotton about. I did not want to be stuck with this charge when i have been legally allowed to drink for 10 years. Ed went to the pretrail conferance, and called me afterwards saying the charge ha been dismissed. I did not even have to appear. If there is a way to get you off a charge, Ed will find it, he does an amazing job.
Thanks again Ed!
I hired Ed to help me with an old owi charge I never took care of as a young adult. Ed advised me that my case probably would not be able to stand in trial, and was able to get me a very satisfactory plea agreement which dismissed a different charge, and lowered my owi to a lower offense. During sentencing Ed did a excellent job of conveying my situation of living out of state and my need to return home promptly to the judge; as a result I received no probation that would hinder my need to leave the state. I believe that the results if my sentincing could not have gone any better.
Ed has an excellent repoir with everyone I noticed he came in contact with at the courthouse. He was very friendly with every employee at the courthouse, from the clerk, to the judge; and seemed very well respected by all. I think this respect he has helped my case go smoothly and gave it an upper hand over other attorneys I have been involved with in the past.
Like most people, I don't have a large sum of money available for surprise situations like an owi. Ed was very accommodating and we were able to set up a payment plan, he began working on my case immediately after our intial consultation. His method of billing is very fair, and he counts the time down to the minute, his service is well worth the cost.
During this whole nerve wrecking situation, Ed stood by my side and made everything as easy for me as he could. I would recommend his service to anyone.
Thanks again Ed!
I put myself in a very difficult situation with two charges very close together. Ed proactively worked with the prosecutors in both counties and got them to agree on pleas that allowed me to essentially fulfill the requirements for both charges under one court. That greatly simplified the logistics needed for me to comply and saved me significant costs and community service hours.
he did a great job representing me on my .25+ owi. honest, clear, to the point, respect, morals and really un derstans the needs of the client. i will recomend his services to all my friends!!!! he also gave me a great advise on my first consultation!! great person two hands down!! it will be the smart thing to do after u get busted drunk driving!! CALL ED INSTEAD!!
Great experience. He never promised or guaranteed anything other than his best effort! Ended up getting a potential "super-drunk" dui turned into a careless driving. He did not force me to accept any pleas and went over every detail of the case with me and I felt comfortable. His services helped save my job! would definitely recommend!!!

This man truly cares about what he's doing. his prices are very reasonable and he always made me feel like a person and not a client. He always returns phone calls and kept me very informed. The legal system that we have can be very frustrating. Edward did a wonderful job of making it go as smooth as possible. I recommend him very highly.

Ed has a friendly disposition that made me feel comfortable right away.
Ed answered all my questions during my consultation and explained everything so it was easy to understand.
He responded quickly and I really liked the go clio app that Ed provided to keep me updated about my case, paperwork, and court date appearances. Very efficient.
Very nice person and excellent Lawyer. Thank you for your service!

I would strongly recommend hireing Ed if you are facing drunk driving charges. After I was charged with owi and refusing to take a breathalyzer I was told I wouldn't have a license and would probably be looking at jail time and probation. So a friend suggested hiring Ed. So I did, and that was the the best decision I ever made. Instantly Ed began filing paperwork with the security of state to keep my license. He won the securatary of state hearing, then he got my criminal charge reduced to careless driving! I never even had to go to trial! When I went to pay my small fine at the courthouse the clerk couldn't believe it! She told me "you must have a good attorney! I mean really good!" I think that says it all.
