Description: This is a medical marijuana case in which a Dearborn resident and registered qualifying patient was arrested by the Dearborn Police Department for possession of marijuana. The case was assigned to the Hon. Marc Somers, a judge who had previously ruled that the Michigan Medical Marijuana Act was unconstitutional. Neil Rockind mounted a challenge to Judge Somers presiding over the case. Rockind argued that Somers should be disqualified from hearing the case.
