Practice Area: Immigration
Outcome: approved
Description: Client, a minister of religion, came to US over 20 years ago to work at a church. Married a US citizen, had two children. Before he came to US he had been convicted of two drug crimes in his home country. His wife filed the necessary forms to get his green card. USCIS denied green card citing the two drug convictions. I was retained and today he is a legal permenent resident. Truly, this was the hardest case to win in my 37 years of practicing US immigration law.
