Mr. Delay failed to represent our interest at all. He did no discovery, interrogatories, no production sheets. He failed to prepare us for depositions. He seemed to be too friendly with the opposing Counsel, almost to the point of making us feel as if he were co-counsel for the defendants.
He showed up at our first case management meeting ill-prepared, without accepting a packet containing pertinent materials that dealt with our case, sent certified mail, 2 weeks before the scheduled meeting, only to receive the packet back 2 weeks after the hearing, but yet when asked if he had received the packet before the meeting he claimed he had.
Did not keep us informed as to upcoming hearings, depositions, etc. He did not explain how the court system worked. He only filed one status report and that was 2 days after being released as our counsel.
Brendan is a fine attorney, who understands what all of the client's needs are and follows through with those needs. He also holds several decades of experience with personal injury, traffic, credit card debt resolution, foreclosures and estate planning etc. This specific type of experience is more crucial now given today's economy.
I personally have been fortunate enough to gain important, necessary knowledge from Brendan several times over the past 15 years for traffic, credit, trusts etc. He is reliable when I need to reach him too.
Moreover, Brendan has a degree from Case Western Reserve University and has served as a pillar in the community, helping keep neighborhoods safe and helping the underserved.
In the heart of the Great Recession of 2008 - 2009, I found myself falling behind in my mortgage payments. In late 2009 my lender filed a Foreclosure Suit against my property. I thought I could handle resolving it myself using the Federal programs which had been established such as the HAMP program and the Making Home Affordable Program. I kept filling out forms, and sending in documentation, but it was like mailing information into a black hole. They kept saying my documents were not on file. Finally, in August 2010 I realized I needed help and hired Brendan. Four months to the day later, in December 2010, Brendan secured a Dismissal of the Suit. It was a stressful, tedious 4 month procedure, but ended up with about $40,000.00 in back due payments being added back to my principal balance, and my mortgage interest rate dropping from 6.875% to just 2.5%. Brendan outright saved my home for myself and my family. He's an incredibly talented, intelligent Attorney. I have since used on his services on various small business matters, and I highly recommend him to anyone needing help with Foreclose, Small Business, and a variety of other practices.
Hired Brendan origionally several years ago and still use his services. I had three homes go into mediation and he was well versed to handle the complexitiesw of the situtation
Mr. Delay was very knowledgeable and helpful while going through the confusing process of a foreclosure. He was responsive to all of our questions and kept us informed of the status of our case on a regular basis. He also helped us with some credit card debt and was able to help raise our score and negotiate credit reporting with the foreclosure situation. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know going through a foreclosure or dealing with credit card debt!
Mr. Delay saved my house from foreclosure. He has a complete knowledge of the HAMP program. Thanks to Mr. Delay I received a large check from the National Mortgage Settlement Funds from a previous house.
