Description:52 years old woman suffered lacerated liver, multiple right rib fractures, right ankle fracture, lung contusions, abdominal compartment syndrome, and other injuries when she was involved in a multiple vehicle collision on an Ohio interstate. A semi-tractor trailer tipped over and was blocking one of two highway lanes. A car struck the trailer and spun out into Plaintiff's lane of travel, striking the car in which she was a passenger. A third car then hit Plaintiff's car from behind. Approximately $200,000 was paid for Plaintiff's medical treatment and she also incurred significant lost income.
